As an Entry Fire Protection Engineer working with our Built Environments team, you’ll use your skills and experience to help deliver and complete challenging and engaging buildings projects. You’ll assist in the design of sprinkler systems, special hazards suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm systems, and building/life safety codes under the guidance of a knowledgeable team of experienced Fire Protection Engineers.

This role is for a opening in Knoxville, Greenville, Atlanta or Orlando.
Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field from an ABET or ETAC accredited program
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
United States Citizenship
Ideally, you’ll also have:
3.0 GPA
Must be at least a rising Junior
Fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and/or life safety design experience
Prior work or internship experience
Familiarity with NFPA and ICC codes and standards
University level experience with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) (FDS) modeling and analysis
Willingness to travel to jobs sites around the world
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certificate
