We're looking for a highly ambitious and focused Entry-Level Piping Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our client’s business. You’ll work with our team of engineers and designers to develop estimates and scopes of work, perform field investigations, interface with clients & vendors, and prepare construction design packages. You’ll support your team in layout and design process and mechanical equipment for various types of clients including data center, electric vehicle, industrial, chemical, and pulp & paper. As your mentored and guided by Professional Engineers and Project Managers you will expand your expertise as you develop the design criteria for piping specifications, supports and stress analysis, 3D design software platforms for process equipment and piping, and construction deliverables that will bring value to clients.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to
Performing conceptual and detailed designs for diverse Industries such as specialty chemicals, hydrogen, or batteries
Interfacing with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully-coordinated projects
Supporting field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
Participating in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Ability to work independently for core tasks, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and reaching out for guidance and instruction when needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Previous internship experience in the design of Piping systems, and with codes and standards related to design of Piping systems.
Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributing with innovative ideas
Proficiency in SmartPlant 3D, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, Caesar II
