We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Engineer for the Greenwood Village, Colorado office. As part of our team, you will have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal clients’ water and wastewater challenges locally and worldwide.

You will be charged with designing water and wastewater pump stations, treatment facilities/processes for water and wastewater plants and conveyance systems. Your talent will be utilized in technical writing, developing construction drawings and technical specifications. We will have you use your experience to design pump stations for water and wastewater, pipe sizing calculations, pump selection, process facilities (primary, secondary, tertiary, and solids treatment systems), rotating equipment (centrifugal pumps, blowers), piping systems, valves, and appurtenances for in plant process piping, chemical systems, and hydraulic studies.

The base salary range for this position is $125,100 to $195,450. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering 

  • At least 14 plus years of experience in water/wastewater process mechanical engineering for municipal clients 

  • Lead Engineer experience

  • Experience developing construction documents and technical specifications

  • Process mechanical detailed design experience for water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems 

  • Experience with water/wastewater equipment for municipal clients

  • Design implementation of rotating equipment

  • Hydraulic Modeling for pressurized and open channel systems

  • Experience in plant piping system design for water and wastewater systems

  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and CAD staff

  • Professional Engineer (P.E) License  

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

  • Experience with Design-Build, CMAR/CM-GC and/or EPC projects 

  • Construction support services for water and wastewater projects

  • Experience in developing project level of effort for the process mechanical design of water and wastewater systems
