As a Facility Maintenance Planner/Scheduler you’ll plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for a team of multi-disciplinary technical experts, ensuring that our clients can deliver their products and services – uninterrupted. You’ll act as liaison between Jacobs staff, subcontractors and clients for the planning and scheduling of maintenance work orders and with technical leads and technicians to prioritize and plan work according to facility requirements. In this fast-paced, heavy industrial environment, you’ll distribute Preventive Maintenance and Demand Work Orders in the form of a weekly schedule and assist Supervisor and/or Leads with job coordination. We’ll give you the tools to become an expert on the various building systems that support our client’s operations. You’ll use your expertise to help your team succeed in the safe and time-critical operation, maintenance and repair of mission-essential equipment. You’ll drive the success of our program with effective and efficient planning, scheduling via Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), inventory control, and management of our client’s asset.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Extensive experience in maintenance and repair of industrial HVAC, industrial electrical, plumbing or utility plant operations

  • Experience and understanding of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as MAXIMO, EAMS or equivalent database systems.

  • Exposure to any skilled trade.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude with an understanding of critical industrial systems, such as HVAC, chillers, electrical components, and plumbing.

  • Experience in employee and subcontracted work coordination in a predictive and reliability-based facility maintenance program

  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and one-line drawings.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access).

*Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends
