Jacobs Hydraulic Modeler in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico

If you are interested in bringing a different way of thinking to everything you do, then Jacobs is where you belong.  We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Hydraulic Modeler in Puerto Rico, who will support local water and wastewater authorities.  As a key member of our Puerto Rico team, you'll be involved in data collection and analysis, development of database and GIS applications, development and application of hydraulic models. Using industry and/or our cutting-edge, proprietary tools and modeling software, you'll assist with delivering projects and serving and developing clients.   Join us and we will assist in continuing the development of your skills and exploring all that you can do across our global company, with opportunities to share your knowledge along the way.

Here's What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field.  Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. Experience developing hydraulic/ water quality models (e.g. InfoWater Pro, InfoSWMM, InfoWorks, WaterCad, etc.), including model calibration (steady state and extended period simulation projects), and scenario development. Experience with ArcGIS Pro. Experience writing technical reports. Strong self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, data analysis & technical problem solving, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and computer skills.  Ideally, You’ll Also Have: A master's degree in environmental or civil engineering or a related engineering discipline. Experience with ArcGIS and graphics/CAD software, hydraulic modeling software, and advance capabilities with MS Excel and databases. Experience with Info360. Writing and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
