Your Impact:

Jacobs is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Knowledge Management (KM) Coordinator for the Peoples and Places Solutions (P&PS) line of business. This position reports to the Knowledge Manager EMEA and will be working closely with senior stakeholders globally. We are looking for a person with strong communication skills, a passion for knowledge and information management and with excellent English language ability.

Here's what you’ll be doing:

Specific responsibilities are likely to change over time, but initial responsibilities are.

  • Gathering, analysing and curating the available content and catering to day-to-day knowledge needs.

  • Creating document toolkits for the best-in-class Sales documents by collaborating with the Sales co-ordinators.

  • Creating dashboards on site usage report and suggesting improvement plans.

  • Acting as the document controller for all content elements within the region.

  • Contributing to keeping the KM process documents up to date.

  • Reviewing SP team-sites and curate content for future reference, after identifying useful pieces.

  • Working with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the bids/projects and the documentation requirements.

  • Focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities, by making the best use of available knowledge.

  • Maintaining the information architecture (Taxonomy) and different KM tools.

  • Taking ownership for accomplishing new requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 1-3 years’ proven working experience in Knowledge Management.

  • Experience in working on KM tools like SharePoint Online, Ms. Teams, etc.

  • Excellent written skills in English.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Desirable attributes:

  • Self-motivated self-starter, tenacious, resilient, team player

  • Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Planning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar fields

  • Sales, bidding and proposal management experience would be a plus.
