1ORGANIZATION

Job:South Region Project Auditor (SRPA)

Reports to:Regional Quality Manager (RQM)

The SRPA maintains hard line reporting to the Regional Quality Manager (RQM), a dashed line reporting to Geographic Quality Manager (GQM) and Local Quality Manager (LQM)

2KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General:

This position requires a team player who will be seen as a resource to both the Geographic Quality Manager (GQM) and Local Quality Manager (LQM), and will work collaboratively within the Quality team to improve quality initiatives in the areas of project initiation and execution in the

respective geographical areas.

  • Conduct a Pre-Audit or “Desk Audit” using Project Roadmap/Progress Audit Forms and update each with finding of items that comply with Audit Criteria and forward to the LQM and GQM for follow up of criteria not found or missing with PM as a part of audit closeout review and distribution process

  • Conduct other audit types as identified by the RQM

  • Assist GQMs with monitoring and tracking geographic area audit metrics

  • Track and report on the completion of all Performance Improvement Notice (PINs) or Corrective Action/Preventative Actions (CAPAs) related to audit findings using the Quality Management System

  • Provides email notice of overdue items to distribution list.

  • Any other assignment, task and activity delegated/assigned by the RQM/LQM from time to time.

In a specific location

  • Implements and follows up the Quality plans and Internal audits plan in consultation with project managers, LQM and Department Heads.

  • Coordinates with the auditees in timely and successful execution of the internal audit plan and follow up activities.

  • Point of contact for QA related matters and communication within the location.

  • Organizes quality meetings and events.

  • Updates, monitors and disseminates weekly/monthly quality records, reports and action lists, viz., Quality calls agenda and MoM, Audit register, Audit tracker and similar

  • Quality documentation and records filing, storage, retrieval, archiving etc.

On a specific project:

  • SRPA is a motivated professional for all projects/project managers located in the South Region and has demonstrated experience in a project delivery environment as well as an understanding of best practices and quality tools and processes.

  • He is responsible for conducting “Initial Audits” on the Project Roadmap documents, Project “SOP Compliance” Audits throughout the life cycle of the project per the Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP) and other audit types as identified by the RQM.

  • Consults the Project Manager/Engineer on quality of work; quality performance of his project and any improvement opportunities; compliance to project procedures (SOPs, JVEPs, Value Plus and Sustainability Plus) and best practices.

  • Ensures that the project team is aware of and applies the required SOPs and JVEPs.

  • Ensures the correct use of tools and templates.

  • Prepares and supplies the Project Quality Plan, as part of the Project Execution Plan, under which the project team can proceed to comply.

  • Plans, executes and follows up the project audit plan.

  • Prepares the overall project Quality report and highlights for Project Manager/Engineer and where desired for Client’s information.

  • Coordinates with the project auditee to follow up and close out the audit findings (internal and external), i.e., Performance Improvement Action Plan(s) and Observations Plan.

  • He will submit project audit findings to the RQM and GQMs for review and distribution.

  • Any other quality activity and task required to perform on the project.

3Metrics & KPIs

  • Provide a full time focus on the performance of SOP Compliance Audits for projects across the South Region.

  • Monitor, track, and report on audit metrics for the region:

  • Project Audits: Pre-Audit or Desk Audit, Progress Audit, Project Closeout

  • Performance Improvement Notices (PINs) and Corrective and Preventative Action Plans (CAPAs)

4Expected Time Charging

95% Billable, 5% Overheads

5Education, location, experience and Training

  • B.E., B. Tech (Civil) is desirable, other streams considerable

  • Role is based out of Gurgaon office

  • 3 years of well-rounded experience in project management, engineering, design, and/or

construction

  • Knowledge of Jacobs Quality Management Systems

  • Thorough understanding of project management with recent experience as a Project Manager

or Project A/E Manager is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication skills are required

  • Strong organization skills that result in consistently reliable information for our teams and

partners

  • Ability to use database functions and tools is required.

6Job qualifications

  • Good verbal and written knowledge of the English language

  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office packages Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Sociable, Punctual, Accurate

  • Quality assurance and systems experience of at least 5 years
