Jacobs Help Desk Integration Engineer W/ Poly in HANOVER, Maryland
Your Impact:
Jacobs is seeking a Help Desk Integration Engineer to support a prime contract in our Hanover and/or Columbia, MD offices. Help Desk Integration Engineers generally support various projects, identify business needs, and propose IT solutions to evaluate customers’ present components and ensure that final solutions meet organizational needs. They need knowledge of the latest integration solutions and problem-solving methods using creativity, customer service, and teamwork. They develop and implement solutions that integrate applications across an enterprise or its units and departments by evaluating existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and ensure that final solutions meet the organization's needs.
Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide engineering, analysis, and technical support for the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and associated Public Key
Enabled Applications Help Desk
Provide troubleshooting support to users and resolve issues
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
Monitor ticket queue and respond to Incident and Service Request tickets accordingly
Migrate users to Public Key Enabled Applications and assist with the use of the applications to include RSA token
distribution and association
Perform user acceptance testing following test procedure
Provide metrics on ticket resolutions and document lessons learned
May require occasional call-in

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• A minimum of 3 years of engineering, analyst, or software experience
• DoD 8570 Compliant IAT Level II
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Hard working professional with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Demonstrated ability to continuously learn and work independently, making decisions with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an enthusiasm for in working in a highly-collaborative setting – sharing best practices, lessons learned, and assisting where gaps exist.
