Job Description :
Interactive Operator Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for researching and creating advanced content on various cyber-specific topics to support the development of hands-on training for a Department of Defense customer. The job will require working closely with an interdisciplinary team of instructional designers, graphic artists, technical editors, and an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist to create lesson plans, practical exercises using virtual machines (VMs), assessments, etc. The job may also involve supporting the research, development and fielding of advanced cyberspace technologies.
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Researches, develops, and refines content to be applied in interactive eLearning, mobile/distance learning, instructor-led, and/or blended courseware of a technical nature
• Works with the I/O Psychologist and ISDs to create scenarios, practical exercises, and exams in Ginkgo+ that mimic real-world experiences
• Designs and builds immersive virtual machine (VM) networks from which the students participate in both ungraded and graded hands-on portions of a course
• Conducts the mapping of course learning objectives to Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) and/or Job Qualification Standards (JQS) requirements with the I/O Psychologist and ISDs
• Works with ISDs to update and maintain instructional and student materials (e.g., exercises and practicums, glossary terms, supplemental reading materials, enrichment materials, and “Help” topics, walk-throughs, etc.)
• Maintains technical expertise in assigned field (forensics, malware analysis, etc.)
• Reviews all content and exercises to ensure technical accuracy
• Develops realistic time estimates and schedules for designing and delivering course materials and other deliverables
• Adheres to standards
Most work will be done at a desk or computer.
General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.
Equipment & Machines:
General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Knowledge of physical computer components and architectures, including the functions of various components and peripherals, basic programming concepts, assembly codes, TCP/IP, OSI models, underlying networking protocols, security hardware and software. Proficiency in writing, editing, executing scripts on Windows, Linux, Unix systems. Experience or demonstrated knowledge of penetration testing techniques and tools with specific Department of Defense experience regarding Title 10 and Title 50. Experience with toolsets such as Wireshark, Metasploit, BackTrack, tcdump, NMap, Nessus, Snort, BeEF, IDA Pro, OllyDbg.
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Other degrees with strong computer technology curriculum may be considered.
Experience programming in assembly, compiled, and interpreted languages.
Proficiency with command line interface.
Experience with encryption and decryption such as PGP, DES, AES, RSA, PKI.
Knowledge of distributed systems, process control, advanced routing, wireless, telecom and datacom platforms.
Desired Requirements :
Experience programming in C, C++, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, SQL.
Certifications such as CEH, LPT, GXPN, GPEN, GREM CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, RHCE, CompTIA.
