Jacobs is currently seeking an intermediate-level Project Specialist with an active TS/SCI to support our government customer in Hanover, MD. Responsbilities will include:
Analyzes project milestones and budgets.
Reviews individual project progress, measuring performance and recommends corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost as well as overall program accomplishments.
Documents and provides results of specific business process re-engineering initiatives and alternative action proposals.
Monitors individual project objectives, milestones, and budgets within the overall program objectives.
Prepares correspondence relevant to projects/programs.
Program specialists are responsible for a variety of administrative, business and operational functions necessary to run a government program(s) efficiently.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Education Level: AA or 2-year technical school
Degree in Business or related field
A minimum of five (5) years of related experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance
Location: Hanover, MD
Knowledge of DoD funding process, program office estimate (POE) development, and budget forecasting.
Experience with DoD 5000, FAR, DFARS, and AFARS.
Experience with Standard Operations and Maintenance Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS), General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
