We are seeking a confident Drainage Engineer to join our team in either Henderson, NV OR Reno, NV. Someone who can use their vast knowledge of roadway, drainage, water quality, erosion control, and hydraulic systems and apply them to today’s challenges. As a seasoned professional, you will have the chance to mentor, learn, and work independently as a key team member.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
Should have passed the FE exam and plan to take the Professional Engineering (PE) exam within the first few years of hire.
Experience with design software such as GIS (ArcMap), AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads, HECHMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8, FHWA Hydraulic Toolbox.
Ability to learn Civil3D, OpenRoads Designer/SUDA, or other hydrology/hydraulics programs, as needed.
Experience designing highway and other transportation drainage systems and erosion control measures
Experience and/or interest with hydrology and hydraulics for river systems, 1D and 2D
Experience with water quality analysis and design is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and capable of working with internal colleagues, clients, contractors, and regulatory agency staff.
Team oriented with strong capability to learn, mentor, and work independently while managing time and budget.
