Jacobs Senior Transportation Project Manager in Henderson, Nevada

You will proactively identify and solve the most complex problems that impact the management and direction of the business. At Jacobs you will participate in the development of our business strategy. You will also lead multidisciplinary projects and initiatives. You will lead our largest projects/initiatives that have a significant impact upon the business. Preference is for this position to be based locally, however remote is a possibility.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or another related field

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Nevada or ability to obtain within one year.

• At least 15 years of progressive experience as an engineer and project manager in the transportation design field

• At least 8-10 years of project management experience in transportation planning/design

• At least 5 years assisting business development/client services manager experience

• Demonstrated experience working on successful projects with public agencies

• Ability to demonstrate project leadership experience

• Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines

• Must be willing to travel to interface with clients and Jacobs’ offices

• Promote Jacobs quality control practices through all phases of design and plans production

• Upholds the strongest ethical business practices in conjunction with Jacobs Corporate policies

• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skill
