We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Client Executive who will focus on Homeland Security and Department of Justice clients and will have the opportunity to develop, nurture and manage a pipeline to meet objectives. We are looking for someone who will thrive in an environment where they are responsible for providing senior leadership, be a critical subject matter expert, and provide unique qualifications key to sales initiatives, as well as serve as the final authority in their field of specialty. The ideal person will have the ability to create or approve value propositions that enhance Jacobs’ competitive position and achieve client objectives, generate and foster positive client relationships and serve as an official company representative to clients. Based in the Washington DC Metropolitan area and reporting directly to the Vice President, Growth & Strategy you will work closely with the Critical Mission Solutions team to provide professional and technically sound programs that accomplish work objectives, satisfy clients’ requirements, and fall within overall constraints for resources.

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Maintain sales forecasts and partner with senior leadership to determine pipeline requirements for sustained organizational growth.

  • Conduct research and analysis of business opportunities within identified target market(s).

  • Develop business plans and strategies and evaluates results.

  • Manage and direct the activities of sales team members in pursuit of increasing Jacobs’ growth and financial profitability.

  • Apply technical proficiency to drive thought leadership in public forums with business and technical leaders through selected speaking engagements and involvement in key industry events.

  • Partner with operational SMEs to research and drive new security solutions for pre-sales engineering to address client challenges.

  • Assess competition and potential markets by analyzing growth strategies.

  • Effectively engages with operational and sales resources, channel management, and marketing to develop and deliver requisite sales products.

  • Develop and execute a focused Client Engagement Plan.

  • Recommend, review, and approve policies and procedures for area of responsibility and/or application across CMS.

  • May serve as an advisor on major projects and programs.

  • Lead implementation of quality, safety, and BeyondZero program in area of responsibility to promote an incident- and injury-free culture.

Qualifications

Here is what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management or other closely related business or technical degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience in business development or commensurate government leadership experience in markets served.

  • Experience leading teams in a virtual environment; ability to work through others, and get results from teams that do not report directly to you

  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance Preferred. Active Secret clearance is required

  • Willingness to travel and support customer visits and strategy workshops. Estimated up to 25% annually as required.
