Your Impact:

• Work on a variety of assignments to support, maintain and enhance a PeopleSoft HCM, payroll, financials, and SCM PeopleSoft system

• Be involved in full life-cycle activities SDLC including enhancements, customizations, interfaces, queries using PeopleTools

• Assist with defining requirements

• Complete coding on new, complex and involved systems

• Efficient and thorough tester

• Must have an excellent understanding of PS Financials — AR, AP, GL, AM, PO, ePRO and Cash Management Modules the business processes that are required for each

• Responsible for maintaining documentation and for insuring team’s adherence to documentation standards as required by our standard process and designated auditable items (SDLC documents, Sarbanes documents)

• Create and maintain project artifacts like Technical Design, Unit Test Scripts, Unit Test Logs, RCA for Defects

• Participating in the overall development effort and complete life cycle for PeopleTools releases

• Taking ownership of the high-quality design, implementation, and quality of PeopleTools products and technology


• Fix defects reported for both post-GA and pre-GA releases of PeopleTools

• Answer questions posted in PeopleTools forums by PT Support Personnel

• Design, develop and unit test project initiatives for PS HR/Benefits application

• Manage IT Service Desk queue as it pertains to HR Business Systems group

• Partner with HRIS, Benefits and Payroll groups to maintain normal functionality of PeopleSoft HR

• Document business processes, develop functional and technical specifications in support of software initiatives

• Debug production issues

• Develop new Pages/Reports/Interfaces

• Develop new application enhancements

• Document system changes

• Review technical designs to ensure compliance with organizational standards

• Will be responsible for design, development and delivery of PeopleSoft application development components, including reports, interfaces, conversions, and implementation of custom solutions

• Code complex/integrated customizations and/or solutions using PeopleTools and related technologies (SQRs, Application Engines, CI’s, PeopleCode, XML)

• Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and Pension team members to assess their business needs and recommend IT solutions

• Under general supervision, this position is part of a development team responsible for building or modifying Information Systems PeopleSoft Financials/SCM and/or PeopleSoft HCM

• This position reports to the PeopleSoft Development Manager and takes technical design direction from the Development Manager and from the PeopleSoft Implementation Architects

• Provide day-to-day Application Support for PeopleSoft HRNet

• Troubleshoot issues both technical and functional as they arise

• Work with other groups within and outside the IT Department in a coordinated fashion to complete assigned tasks

Here’s What You’ll Need:


• 5+ years skills in Structured Query Language (SQL) programming language with ability to code highly complex SQL

• Management, PeopleSoft™ Supply Chain Management)

• Provide production support by assisting with the analysis, design, programming, and testing of solutions to complex production problems, supports the development of test scenarios and test cases

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, and five (5) or more years of hands-on PeopleSoft experience or a Masters degree

• A thorough understanding of PS FSCM applications, PS Application Designer, Oracle SQL Plus, PS Integration tools, PS Testing Framework and PS PIA

• Good working knowledge in Java(EE/SE)/HTML/XML/Web-services

• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, implementation, testing and delivery

• Knowledgeable in multiple programming or scripting language (Java, JavaScript)

• Knowledgeable in PeopleSoft HCM modules (v9 or later)

• Oracle databases/performance tuning, 12g or higher

• Linux/Shell scripting and working knowledge of Perl

• Knowledge on Oracle 10g and version above the same

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Applications Developer/Lead supporting PeopleSoft FSCM modules

• Experience in analysis and testing must have the ability to lead testing efforts

• 5+ years Oracle PeopleSoft HCM project delivery experience with technical expertise in several HCM modules

Desired Requirements (nice to have but not required, ex. Education):

• At least 3 years’ experience in PeopleCode

• At least 3 years’ experience in People Tools

• At least 1 year experience in hands-on implementation or support with Peoplesoft HR modules

• At least 1 year experience in systems development life cycle for multiple Peoplesoft HR implementations

• At least 1 year experience in PeopleSoft tools including PeopleCode

• 5+ years’ relevant experience in PeopleSoft applications, specifically developed on PeopleTools 8.5x and PeopleSoft Internet Architecture
