PRIMARY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our growing Cyber and Intelligence Business Unit is seeking a Security Senior Manager responsible for management of staff supporting government programs and customers. This includes but is not limited to development and implementation of program security procedures applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), Government, Customer and Company rules and regulations. The Sr. Manager recommends strategy, goals, and plans for Security environment. Will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and implementing policies and required training relating to the security department, other functional support organizations, and cleared and uncleared resources supporting classified and or sensitive programs. The Security Sr. Manager will be responsible for heightening security awareness by working with executive management and functional stakeholders. The security Sr. Manager will also be responsible for being a leader in the organization by personal growth of the team and their career advancement.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience;

  • 7-10 Years of experience as Security Senior Manager with an in-depth knowledge of Intelligence Community Security Program responsible for classified programs, managing SCIFs, classified holdings; review applicable sections of RFPs and authoring proposal security volumes; experience with classified contracting and subcontracting; and filing of all legal documentation relating to Foreign Ownership, Control and Influence (FOCI).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have demonstrated the ability to lead a diverse team of security personnel and the ability to work well with people of all levels and backgrounds. Strong organizational and management skills are a must. Knowledge of, and experience with, Government security documents, to include but not limited to the NISPOM, and ICDs. Experience with SCIF Construction standards, development of Security CONOPS and OPSEC Plans.

  • Must Possess active Top Secret with SCI access, or eligibility for same within the past two years

  • Effective Communication Skills (written and oral) – must be able to communicate status and other relevant security information to Leadership, customers and other stakeholders.

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other sensitive information must be maintained within secure channels, not released to anyone without a need for the information, and handled in accordance with company/customer regulations.

  • Must be able to access and utilize company and government databases to maintain cleared facilities and to administer clearances, i.e., JPAS/DISS, NCAISS, SIMS, and other applicable systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Certified FSO per the NISPOM preferred.

  • Location: Virgina or Maryland

Essential Functions

Physical Requirements:

Most work will be done at a desk or computer.

Work Environment:

General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers.

Equipment & Machines:

General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.

Attendance:

Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

Other Essential Functions:

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements. Must be willing to travel as needed. Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen.
