Our Innovative Air and Space Team is an agile and rapidly growing business within KeyW/Jacobs that is leading the development of highly flexible Software-Defined Radios for multi-INT collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination. Our team continues to develop state-of-the-art compression techniques for SIGINT, ELINT, and RADAR data. We are excited to bring on board a system engineer with expertise in signals processing, compression algorithms, and/or SDR systems to support this effort. We have the corporate investment, infrastructure, subject matter experts, support and strategic focus to enable you to be successful.
Lead engineering teams to deliver next-generation multi-INT processing solutions including rapid prototyping and development of sensors, radios, and on-board processing systems.
Assist in development of new concepts, white papers, proposals, and briefings including participating/leading IRAD to define how our capability matches to collection requirements.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Possess a TS/SCI Clearance or held one recently
Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, astrophysics, math, or a related discipline.
5+ years’ experience in systems engineering focusing on SIGINT or Radar systems.
Experience providing technical leadership to an innovative team of engineers and scientists.
Experience leading systems engineering processes, tailored to each mission profile.
Experience leading, coordinating, and presenting at meetings.
Experience leading development of technical documentation deliverables.
Broad technical understanding of current and future space systems and technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Formal training in systems engineering.
Experience with airborne or space SIGINT/ELINT processing platforms.
Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or communications systems.
Familiarity with SIGINT processing, exploitation, and dissemination.
Location : Herndon, VA/ Severn, MD
Clearance : Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
