Our Roads & Highways team is seeking a Senior Roads Designer to be based in our Hobart office. In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading the preparation of designs for civil and road design elements, including roads, traffic facilities, drainage and earthworks. The role will also include provision of functional support to the drafting team, and you’ll need to be able to work as part of multi-discipline teams and mentor junior staff. #ANZTransport #LI-AP1
Here’s What You’ll Need:
• At least 10 years’ experience in a similar position. • Strong experience on major and multidisciplinary Roads and Highways and Transport projects.
• Significant knowledge and breadth of experience in preparing Road and Civil Designs.
• Strong understanding knowledge of the local environment, as well as relevant industry standards, particularly Austroads.
• Advanced knowledge of road design software, especially 12D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation.
• Strong communication skills and Project Coordination Skills.
• Experience with Bentley OpenRoads would be beneficial but is not essential.
