Jacobs Drinking Water and Reuse Technologist in Holladay, Utah

We’re seeking a Drinking Water & Reuse Technologist to join our team in Utah. Someone who can use their vast experience in the water industry and apply it to today’s challenges. You would have great technical support through our local, national, and global network of Senior Water Technologists. You would utilize our proven model of delivery by engaging our regional design staff in Denver, CO, and Corvallis, OR as well as the deep bench of water professional resources globally. You will also have access to our local water technical engineering resources. As a valued Jacobs employee, you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design and construction of water treatment facilities and help lead clients to the correct treatment approach by utilizing desktop calculations, bench analysis, pilot plant operation, and full-scale operational troubleshooting.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with conventional and advanced treatment processes, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection (ozone, UV, chlorine), adsorption, and other treatment processes. We’ll rely on you to support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects, as well as work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships. '- Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering.
At least 8 years of experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering.
Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies.
Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities.
Desire to live locally in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area. This position does not provide relocation reimbursement.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Master’s Degree.
Local experience is highly desirable.
Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure is highly desirable.
