Jacobs Quality Assurance Construction Inspector in Holladay, Utah

We are looking for a Resident Project Representative to add to our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. Join our PMCM West team and work alongside our technical experts to provide contributions to the development of new techniques and standards. Help deliver our projects while being apart of a team in completion of our construction work in accordance with projects and client specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily onsite observations and inspections of the contractor’s work to determine if the work conforms to the contract documents and that the integrity of the design concept as reflected in the contract for construction has been implemented and preserved by the contractor.

  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with project design team, client operations, contractor, and suppliers.

  • Prepare written daily reports that capture work in progress and correlates to the specifications when applicable.

  • Ability to review Contractor Pay Request to validate quantities completed or work progress is acceptable.

  • To be able to maintain or prepare a variety of document control records, including daily/weekly progress reports, material accounting records, change orders, RFI, submittals, and record drawings.

  • Confidence and ability to lead or participate in Weekly Progress Meetings with the Contractor, Client, and Share Holders, if required.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a role of quality control or quality assurance inspector on construction related projects.

  • Valid driver’s license

Ideally, you’ll also have these qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma

  • College degree or a technical school graduate related to Engineering or Construction Management
