In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their issues and support innovative, value-adding solutions. This may include the development of strategies and tools to enable our clients to make the right investment and intervention decisions over the entire asset lifecycle. As a solutions provider, we are seeking an individual who can integrate into our dynamic team and help us develop and deliver our Intelligent Asset Management and Assurance consultancy offering. You will work supporting our expert consultants and be expected to take a leading role on individual tasks and projects. You will be expected to embrace our relationship-based sales ethos and be an excellent role model for more junior members of our team. Accountabilities:

  • Deliver innovative solutions to our clients helping to solve their most complex problems;

  • Develop opportunities and capability to provide strategic asset management consultancy services;

  • Build appropriate level contacts with clients and internal stakeholders;

  • Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships, based on trust;

  • Contribute and lead on sales activities;

  • Prepare monthly reports on projects, proposals, pipeline and people;

  • Provide technical expertise to projects, guiding and delegating to less experienced team members to deliver high quality outcomes for our clients;

  • Contribute and prepare winning proposals by identifying client requirements, win themes, technical options, structuring the commercial offer, meeting with clients, and participating in presentations and discussions;

  • Ensure appropriate governance is applied to all proposals;

  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, relevant legislation and Jacobs standards and processes.

Here’s what you’ll need :

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

  • Minimum a Bachelor's Degree qualified in a relevant engineering, Science, Mathematics and/or Asset/Information Management discipline;

  • Experience delivering innovative solutions;

  • Enthusiastic, self-starter with an open mind who is willing to challenge established practice;

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of techniques, best practices and statutory requirements;

  • Support industry benchmarking, knowledge sharing and the development of thought leadership;

  • Visibility and leadership in industry professional organisations;

  • Ability to form relationships and develop industry connectivity;

  • Ability to communicate effectively from C-suite level through to front line operations and maintenance staff;

  • Good breadth of knowledge and experience across the full scope of Asset Management (stakeholders, strategy, plans, lifecycle management, people, asset information, risk and review);

  • People leadership skills; ability to develop and mentor talented people;

  • Ability to lead the preparation of proposals in the areas of own expertise;

  • Ability to lead the development of technical delivery models and tools in the areas of own expertise

  • Ability to assess and identify deficiencies in client’s approach, provide recommendations and implement improvements in Client organisation’s people, process, procedure, systems, technology and data

  • Membership and engagement with the IAM or equivalent, stays current with advancements in the Asset Management field;

  • Shows commitment to safe work practices, established standards and procedures and accepts responsibility for own safety as well as that of others;

  • Builds positive/effective relationships with clients and co-workers and demonstrates focus on satisfying both internal and external customers;

  • Ability to be an excellent team player who can collaborate effectively;

  • The ability to create connections across the business, identifying opportunities for collaboration and cross-sell across Jacobs’ diverse teams.

  • Experience in the definition, development and implementation of an Asset Management System (such as ISO 55001)
