At Jacobs, we push the limits of what’s possible to make the world smarter, more connected and more sustainable. In our geotechnical work, we focus on slope maintenance project to move people and goods safely and efficiently across the globe. The duties mean regular updating and maintenance of slope data, assisting in preparing geotechnical reports, and various applications on BIM technology. Necessary on-job trainings will be provided. We are now seeking candidates to fill the vacancies on the Technical Team for Geotechnical Projects. This position will provide you the opportunity to utilize your expertise in the following aspects:

• Regular updating and maintenance of slope data and other internal slope maintenance

• Assist in checking on the geotechnical/leakage reports and slope maintenance manuals submitted by consultants;

• Assist in monitoring the progress of Annual Geotechnical Inspection (AGI) works as well as leakage detection and repair works for each estates

Here’s what you’ll need :

• Have a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil or Structural Engineering/ Building Studies/Surveying/Building Services Engineering from a Hong Kong Polytechnic/Polytechnic University or Technical Institute, or equivalent; and

• Preferably have experience in geotechnical engineering and preferably in slope maintenance or ground investigation aspects

• You must have working rights in Hong Kong to be considered.
