Works Supervisors (WSs)- Hong Kong
* Requirements: *
(a)(a)A Works Supervisor (or similar grade) and full-time staff employed by the PSP; and
(b)(b)Have a Certificate or Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil or Structural Engineering from a Hong Kong Polytechnic/ Polytechnic University or Technical Institute, or Structural Engineering; and
(c)(c)Preferably have at least one-year post-qualification working experience in building construction and preferably in structural maintenance aspects after obtaining his/her qualification mentioned in sub-clause item (b) above.
* Responsibilities: *
(a)(a)Supervise the site works and report the performance of contractors;
(b)(b)Carry out in-site measurements and visual inspection and compile the relevant records;
(c)(c)Assist in inspecting and monitoring the progress of site works and updating site records;
(d)(d)Assist in supervising addition and alteration works; and/or
(e)(e)Any other duties, under direct instruction and supervision of the HA, or DR or his representatives.
