Supports the development, delivery and maintenance of Technology and Automation across the HSE, Security & Resilience and Sustainability COE’s. Engagement across the COE to identify, develop and maintain efficiencies of technology. Typical duties involve the following:

  • Identify opportunities for automation and innovative solutions, developing a strategic implementation plan, and effectively collaborating with functional and technical stakeholders to deliver the desired result.

  • Facilitate and lead the development and execution of the COE Technology Road Map with a key emphasis on automating COE work processes.

  • Understand entire COE data needs and dependencies, develop and maintain COE data architecture and coordinate data management.

  • Build automation and technology business cases inclusive of technical and financial vale and return on investment respectively.

  • Develop work processes to leverage and utilize technology effectively.

  • Provides leadership and oversight of technology solutions being utilized, as well as, continuously evaluating software and new solutions coming to market to ensure digital solutions being employed align with business goals.

  • Uses expert level knowledge of multiple technology platforms and a detailed understanding of how they are deployed within the organization to justify and direct key technology decisions.

  • Must be able to present complicated technology concepts in a simple manner, and present key technology challenges or overviews with Senior leadership.

  • Works closely with IT team, business stakeholders and technology vendors to optimize solutions used within the organization.

  • Demonstrates ability to develop, oversee and execute marketing strategies, in coordination with corporate communications and key stakeholders, to ensure adoption and sustained utilization of technology solutions within the COE.

  • Possesses the ability to build and maintain trusting partnerships with the business and technology leaders. Demonstrates passion for culture of caring.

  • Develop and manage a technology budget.

  • Train the entire COE on automation capabilities and technologies acquired.

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 year’s experience

  • Communications background preferred

  • Project Management Professional Certified

  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certified

  • Must be an accomplished and confident leader, manager and communicator capable of supporting strategic forward thinking with the ability to deliver complex, multi departmental initiatives

  • Must have calm and credible leadership skills with ability to influence others
