Develop and maintain detailed Fort Bend ISD 2018 & 2023 Bond Programs Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules using the Primavera (P6) scheduling tool, ensuring alignment with projects’ timelines and goals. Facilitate interactive planning sessions with Construction Project Managers and school members to align project goals with the educational priorities of the district. Review contractor-developed schedules for completeness and accuracy, ensuring adherence to Client’s project requirements. Regularly update and analyze CPM schedules, providing recommendations for workarounds and improvements tailored to Fort Bend ISD projects. Communicate schedule status biweekly through formal and informal meetings and reports, addressing the specific needs and expectations of Fort Bend ISD campus and stakeholders. Interact with engineering and construction personnel to understand and communicate issues and conflicts that impact the schedule, promptly informing the Management Team about chool availability and potential disruptions. Collaborate closely with Construction Project Managers and school members to utilize the schedule strategically and ensure timely project delivery. Coordinate with Project Managers and school coordinators to create a detailed list of campus availabilities for Summer School Programs, considering the unique academic calendar of Fort Bend ISD. Utilize Microsoft Power BI to create and regularly update the Fort Bend ISD Dashboard, providing accurate and relevant information for FBISD Board Trustees and other key stakeholders. Utilize Kahua (PMCS) to generate quarterly cash flow projections and conduct analyses against Fort Bend ISD's total budget, addressing the financial considerations specific to the district. Perform comparative reviews of project schedules and budgets to identify any misalignments, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals and priorities outlined in the Fort Bend ISD plan.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management or related field and 2 years of work experience in commercial construction’s Planning/Scheduling or related occupation.
In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management or related field and 4 years of work experience in commercial construction’s Planning/Scheduling or related occupation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
Expertise/Knowledge with: Scheduling Software Tools (Primavera P6 and MS Project) to develop construction schedules. Construction field processes: Understanding of construction processes, materials and techniques to create accurate schedules. Critical Path Analysis: Identifying the critical path and float in project schedules to manage potential delays. Risk Analysis: Quantitative analysis of project risks and their potential impact on schedules. Quality Controls: Implement quality control measures in the schedule to ensure it meets project specifications. Presentation/Reporting techniques: Proficient in creating and interpreting Gantt charts and other project scheduling diagrams.
Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
