Support delivering world-class wastewater treatment and water management projects for our upstream oil and gas clients and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.

As an Upstream Water Treatment Specialist, out of our Houston, TX office, you'll get a chance to work with the top ranked wastewater treatment engineering firm in the world and support varied processes for wastewater treatment and water management for the Oil and Gas upstream industry. Working with the water services team, you'll develop differentiating approaches for client proposals and lead teams in delivering innovative and new technology applications to meet client needs and ensure that design perspectives are considered in technology selection and finalizing engineering packages. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to grow professionally through challenging projects that have you effectively working with clients to develop water / wastewater characterization and basis of design, alternative evaluation, treatability testing, process definition, conceptual design through to construction and operation for raw water treatment; as well as provide high quality technical expertise in water / wastewater management and biological treatment; as well as help develop and ensure the ongoing success of a high-performance team through mentorship and development. Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of experience (including being the subject matter expert) for applicable industrial water treatment and biological wastewater treatment projects including O&G upstream.

  • At least 10 years of experience writing and communicating complex technical reports, proposals, and presentations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering or related engineering and science discipline.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer – P.E., or ability to obtain within 12-months

  • Proven experience leading technical project teams and working with project managers to deliver successful client projects.

  • Ability to travel across North America and worldwide.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Masters or PhD in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering

  • Well-published and is a recognized subject matter expert for biological wastewater treatment projects.
