Your Impact:

Are you a Project Engineer who is an aspiring Project Manager, this is the opportunity for you. You’ll have tremendous growth potential supporting the Ports and Martime team’s Project Managers in delivering and designing projects. You’ll have the choice to work from our Corpus Christi or Houston offices and balance working from home.

During your time with us, you’ll solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions; while working with and guiding others to help solve complex issues. You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living. We will look to you to take initiative to find solutions that sometimes require you and the team to be very resourceful. Bring your understanding of task management, leadership and knowledge of project design. Field inspection and assessment work will bring you to the client and project sites, so in this role you will need to be able to travel some of the time.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering

  • Professional Engineer in the State of Texas (or ability to apply for reciprocity to obtain a TX PE) or in the process of sitting for the PE exam.

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience

  • Experience in design and task management of ports and maritime projects

  • Proficient in use of relevant analysis programs and design codes related to your background

  • US Citizenship

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 8 to 15 years’ experience in the design of transportation projects.

  • Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Coastal or related Engineering

  • Experience with Port Authorities, preferably in Texas.

  • Experience with container, liquid and bulk terminals, both public and private.

  • Experience in the design, rehabilitation and inspection of marine structures and/or facilities

  • Experience with cost estimating and services during construction on transportation projects.

  • Proficient in use of AutoCAD.

  • The ability to help market and win work with private and public ports partners and clients
