This is a full-time position intended for the fall year remainder.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team with HX5 , a JETS teammate company. Do you have the following skills?
The selected candidate will:
Capture and manage requirements.
Perform system integration and interface management and coordination.
Perform software testing and verification.
Produce software products and artifacts for completeness of design, implementation, and test across the full software development lifecycle.
Perform other tasks assigned.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
This position has been posted at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.
BS degree in a computer science discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of progressive, relevant experience, or an MS degree in computer science discipline and eight (8) years of progressive experience, or a Ph.D. degree in computer science discipline and four (4) years of progressive experience. Requires demonstrated technical expertise in software systems design, analysis, and documentation.

Requirement’s definition, documentation, and management
Proficient use of team collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx, SharePoint, Jira.
Experience working as part of an Integrated Product Team to develop and document software artifacts through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle.
Experience fostering a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills and strong customer service attitude.
NASA software and systems development standards
Software project management experience.

Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time).

Regular attendance by the established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust the schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
