Join the JETS team as we help NASA with it's digital transformation. You'll be part of the team developing the 21st Century Digital Engineering and Product Life Cycle Management system based on PTC's Creo/Windchill product line (known as JEDII).
We are looking for a Windchill Developer to join our team with Barrios Technology, Inc. , a JETS teammate company. Do you have the following skills?

The Windchill Developer will:
Work with the NASA/JETS team of engineering users and fellow-devlopers to:
Define user requirements for customizations to the Windchill products
Develop and update governing software requirements documents for the JEDII (Windchill) system
Architect solutions to user needs as well as to overall system implementation (e.g. user controls, information security)
Define/develop customizations to the Windchill product line
Implement, integrate, and deploy an enterprise management system with emphasis on engineering data information infrastructure that consists of design models and all associated engineering documentation
Work closely with the engineering system engineer to ensure that the JEDII Sysetms supports all engineering data products as they are developed and integrated and will support a full lifecycle solution both at this center and in future efforts with other centers
This will include:
Writing requirements
Communicating and working with users and user groups on the true functionality needed as part of the customization/implementation team
Working with various engineering representatives on defining their specific areas Assisting in the planning and completion of all interactions with the Cloud vendor and deployment activities
Perform other duties as required
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Required Education/Experience/Skills:

- BS degree in engineering from an accredited engineering school and five (5) years of related engineering experience, or a MS degree from an accredited engineering school and four (4) years of related engineering experience, or Ph.D. from an accredited engineering school and zero (0) years of related experience
Experience with:
User requirements definition
Digital engineering / PLM system requirements definition
Architecture, customization, implementation, and deployment for large software systems
JAVA programming
Web development
Windows and Linux System administration
Networking concepts
Document management systems
Database systems
Process analysis and re-engineering
Installation and configuration of servers
Full text search engines
Deployment using load files for files and code
Experience with Windchill
Knowledge of enterprise systems in the Cloud
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Use of Agile software development principles
Requisition Preferences:
Oracle and SQL Server
Experience with NAVIGATE from Parametrics Technology Corporation (PTC)
Knowledge of Integrity usage and integration with Windchill/ThingWorx

Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Equipment and Machines
Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Attendance
Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
