Your Impact:

Become part of a respected and hard-working team of individuals focused on delivering innovative aviation planning solutions to our customers across the globe. We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and help us build modern, intuitive, and enjoyable to use products whether that is in an office setting or flying at 30K feet at night in bad weather.

You will understand user interface design solutions both in practical intent and creative vision; working between customer need and our development teams to realize that vision. Your role will involve planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing enhancements to ensure adherence to the latest UX best practices. You will design across a wide-range of complex products, utilizing innovative technologies and proven approaches to design enterprise-class applications. Successful candidates will:

• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences

• Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products

• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces

• Embrace our culture of continuous improvement by effectively using analytics to improve software design and devise elegant solutions with data-driven improvements

• Collaborate with teams to adapt and document product vision with the use of Agile work packages (Epics, Features, and User Stories)

• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs

• Contribute to test case development and execution of end-user acceptance events

• Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in UI / UX design

• Proficiency with one or more of the following design tools: (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Proto.io, Balsamiq or similar tools)

• Working knowledge and experience with data visualizations in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / Typescript

• Experience creating story boards, user flows, wire framing, process flows, style guides, mockups, and prototypes

• Possess extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a solid understanding of mobile-first and responsive design

• Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and customers

• Experience with UI testing frameworks like SmartBear, Katalon or Selenium desired

• The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
