Construction Quality Assurance Manager
Manage anddirect quality assurance personnel and quality assurance processes incompliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicablecodes and standards, and ensure compliance with customer/client standards andgovernment regulatory requirements in a large scale constructionenvironment. This position will reportto the Project Quality Assurance Manager and is responsible for the planning,managing, and technical performance of the Construction Quality Assuranceprogram, as well as maintaining oversight over the subcontractor’s Quality Assurance/QualityControl programs.
Planand coordinate quality assurance resources, including personnel requirementsand documentation control, to support project activities
Dailyoversight interaction with a 3rdparty testing/inspection agency andsubcontractor Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes
Provideday-to-day direction to site quality staff to support all project requirementsfrom planning to project closeout and delivery of documentation packages
Developsite quality team via training, coaching, and mentoring to support project operations
Performsite Quality Assurance program development and administrative functions tosupport project needs
Provideindependent oversight of site quality developments affecting project operations
Supportand execute formal management assessment and surveillance programs at the site toassure a high level of compliance with the Quality Assurance program andassociated regulatory requirements
Reportto and update the Project Quality Assurance Manager on issues of policies andpractices regarding quality responsibilities
Ensurecompliance with applicable regulatory, code, and industry standard requirementsand ensures that corporate regulatory disclosures are completed for qualityfunctions

Demonstratedunderstanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standardsand guidelines of ASME/NQA-1, QualityAssurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications . NQA-1 Lead Auditor Certification is a plus.
Workingknowledge of AISC-N690, Specification forSafety-Related Steel Structures for Nuclear Facilities .
Advanced knowledge and application of applicable nuclear codes and standards, including 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, DOE Order 414.1D, and national consensus standard ASME NQA-1–2008/ASME NQA-1a-2009 Addenda.
Advanced technical knowledge of the application of engineering, procurement, and construction practices sufficient to comprehend specified Quality Assurance requirements for these disciplines; including Commercial Grade Dedication and application of the graded approach in an NQA-1 environment.
Advanced experience participating in and supporting quality assessments, surveillances, audits and/or cause analysis.
Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret various physical, mechanical, and electrical documents, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and schematics.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel across multiple organizations to solve complex problems.
Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and schedule work to ensure completion in accordance with requirements, deadlines, and budget.

- Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree orequivalent experience.
Experience: A minimumof 15 years related experience; including 5 years in the nuclear industry, 5years of supervisory/management experience, and at least 5 years of Quality
