Assist in developing estimates and assembling pricing submittals for proposals. Track contract funding changes and other contract modifications. Develop cost and schedule baselines. Ensure accurate reflections of actual cost against cost baselines in corporate financial system. Track commitments and accrued costs. Review vendor and client invoices for accuracy. Update estimates to complete and revise schedules. Help project managers identify trends and alert them to potential cost and schedule issues. Support procurement and vendor payment of general construction project materials and services. Perform ad hoc analysis and what-if scenarios. Perform earned value analysis and report variances. Assist in writing client status reports. Develop timely, accurate, in-depth analysis of cost and schedule data and provide corrective action recommendations. Develop strategic planning schedules and provide support to project management in cost, schedule, performance measurement, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
10 or more years of experience in project controls or closely related field.
Financial Analysis experience
General Accounting: Account Reconciliation, Pricing
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field, Business Administration or another applicable field
Proficiency with Excel required.
Experience with cost and schedule control, forecasting, variance analysis preferred.
Experience with ARES PRISM software
15 or more years of experience in project and financial reporting
Experience with PeopleSoft financial software tools
Position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision, deal with aggressive deadlines, competing priorities and changing requirements.
Experience with scheduling software (Primavera Project Planner) preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Candidate local to the Idaho Falls, ID area
Office environment. (95%)
May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, explosives, chemicals and industrial facilities.
Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist and sit for extended periods (100%) as well as climb, crawl, and lift up to 25 lbs (25%).

- Standard office equipment - PC, telephone, fax, copier, related equipment (90%)
Regular attendance mandatory (100%)
Overtime/work outside normal schedule may be required (20%)
Travel may be required (<10%)

Valid driver's license is required.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required. Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background check.
