Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Architectural Group Leader, the successful candidate will work closely with a Design Principal or Project Architect and is responsible for the coordination, development, and production of design and construction documents in support of overall project design.


  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under tight deadlines, while maintaining high quality standards

  • Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings

  • Performs routine tasks under general supervision using well-defined standards and procedures

  • Designs components or portions of systems, and modifies existing designs to develop or improve them

  • Gathers information, makes studies, performs calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposal

  • Performs product research; assists project designers and project architects with materials selection and system research

  • May assist team in construction administration document management

  • Coordinates design with engineering disciplines

  • Self-motivated personality with the ability to work collaboratively and independently as appropriate in studio environment


  • As a Graduate level opportunity, 0-2 years experience required

  • BA/BS in Architecture is required

  • Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English required

  • Valid drivers' license is required

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

  • Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD is required

  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max and Rhino

  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign graphic software preferred

  • Basic knowledge of architectural building systems

  • Basic knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines

  • Ability to work in team environment

  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines

  • Basic understanding of IBC & Accessibility Codes

  • Ability to build physical models
