As a ClientAccount Manager within our PM/CM group, you will have the opportunity to impact strategic businessrelationships with key clients to ensure Jacobs has a sustainedrelationship to achieve complete client satisfaction withwork, and fully leverage the relationship to benefit clients and our firm.Working with members of our team, your focus is to make sure Jacobs is theclient’s firm-of-choice, and that the company has a thorough understanding ofthe client’s needs and is seen as their best advocate for accomplishing their goals related to project and construction management. Your focus is driving growth across our Buildings and Infrastructure teams.
During your time with us you will:
Represent Jacobs to theclient in a positive, caring, solutions-delivery approach by engaging thebroader firm
Identify, charter, andlead Client Service Management (CSM) teams comprised of multi-disciplinaryproject managers and regional practice leadersaround common vision of success
Secure managementcommitment and influence/attract key staff for pursuits
Advocate on client'sbehalf by actively engaging the firm to address client needs, and recommendstrategic actions to optimize our business development investment and marketshare growth
Facilitate creation ofdeep, personal, valuable client relationships between Jacobs personnel andclient personnel (management, technical, functional, delivery) to weave afabric of broad-based relationships between our firm and the clients
Develop trust andcredibility with clients by engaging in business discussions to formulatewinning and portfolio diversification solutions
Identify higher levels ofclient engagement for executive sponsors
With CSMs, coordinate andfacilitate Go/No Go decisions, and help develop required sales costs alignedwith opportunity potential and return on investment objectives
Actively engage with CSMsand Sales teams to influence pursuit team on sales process discipline, winstrategy and proposal development, interviews and presentations
BS degree required in a technical orbusiness discipline or equivalent related work experience in lieu of a degree
15 years of experience in the DesignBuild engineering field. Proven client development skills, including previousexperience managinglarge capitalimprovementprojects
Proven track record of creating andwinning work in the design build, Architecture or EPCM market space.
Proven record of developing zipperedrelationships with key clients at all levels (from executives to key managementlevels)
Ability to open doors for initiatingrelationships at client organization
Ability to lead an account team, seta vision and strategy, coach/mentor and motivate members, reach within Jacobsto offer best-in-class solutions, manage commercial and legal negotiations, andclose deals
Technical background/experience indelivering or managing large Buildings (Healthcare, Education, commercial high rise) projects/programs is considered a positive and adds credibility in consulting,engineering, construction industry service offerings and delivery
Successful track record of beinginnovative and bringing a differentiated solution to a client
Ability to lead through influence
High level of emotional intelligence/team builder, coach andmentor
Innovative and solutions-oriented thinker
Client political savviness
