As our newest team member, you’ll play an active role in the development of plans, specifications and estimates for intelligent transportation systems, highway lighting, traffic signal design, and electrical systems supporting transportation assets (movable bridges, pump stations, toll gates, reversible lanes, etc.), construction inspection, field data collection, and report writing. We’d provide you professional development when you help to develop ITS solutions, complete street networks, and project reports. Joining our team, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your electrical design expertise to create innovative solutions.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience on ITS projects
• Engineer in Training (EIT/FE) preferred
• Valid driver’s license & able to travel for site visits
• Strong analytical skills
• Systems engineering experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple complex assignments simultaneously
• Experience using CADD/Design software
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in California, or ability to obtain licensure via reciprocity
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code
• Experience with Intelligent Transportation Systems for DOT and municipal clients
• Network Design/Configuration Certifications (CCENT/CCNA, CompTIA A+)
• Knowledge of traffic signals and signal systems
• Strong oral and written communications skills

Typical salary range for this position is $107,800 to $168,400 , and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
