As a Senior Project Architect in our Irvine or LA, California office, you’ll function as an integral team member for assigned buildings design projects. The candidate should have the ability to lead building projects and supervise design staff.
This position though located in southern California, reports to our manager in San Francisco. The candidate should have proven experience working directly with clients on a consistent basis. You will be responsible for representing Jacobs in southern California on current programs and potential new opportunities. Candidate must posses strong verbal and writing skills. Must also have a proven track record of delivering successful projects as the primary client interface.
The candidate will need to be able to work supervise design staff in Sketchup, Revit, and AutoCAD to produce conceptual, design development, and construction documents under direct supervision of the Architect Design Professional. Most assignments will be completed working as a team member. There may be assignments where the candidate has the sole responsibility to deliver client documents. The candidate will also need to be proficient in Power Point for presentations and have excellent communication skills. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining ongoing client relationships.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
· 15+ years of experience in vertical buildings programs
· Licensed California Architect
· Proven experience working as an integral team member
· Proven successful track record working directly with clients for successful project delivery
Ideally You’ll Also Have:
· Master’s Degree in Architecture
· Experience in working on Life Sciences Projects
· Knowledge of California building code
· Knowledge of preparation of project specifications

Typical salary range for this position is $130,400 to $203,750 , and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
