We are looking for a dedicated Specifications Editor/Designer in northern California. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide.
You’ll work collaboratively with Project Managers, Design Managers, Engineers, and Architects across a wide geographic area to produce fully integrated contract documents including editing and preparing contract conditions, general and bidding requirements, as well as prepare Specifications that coordinate with Contract Drawings.
Responsibilities
This position will work within the Specifications Processing group to support the delivery of project specifications.
Prepare all specifications in accordance with company standards and client specific requirements and protocols.
Proof and back check all work and address issues or questions with the Lead Specs Processor.
Set up and maintain project specification records for version control and file management.
Compile contract documents (specifications) accurately.
Organize and maintain records to track technical specifications through project design milestone phases.
Finalize each project according to specifications best practices.
This can be either a hybrid position located in Redding or a remote position located in other cities of California. The range below, reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all California locations. This position is non-exempt and paid hourly.
Advanced MS Word skills, attention to detail, and detailed organization and file management.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite latest editions and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
