By joining our team of transportation design professionals, we’ll look to draw from your engineering design expertise for delivery of traffic signal, signing/striping, traffic control/traffic handling, and Complete Streets projects in California and beyond. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to traffic analyses supporting major infrastructure projects, and development of ; both of which may include applying Big Data to generate value to the client.
You’ll be able to showcase your writing skills with report generation on projects with multiple clients; Department of Transportations (DOTs) throughout California local municipalities.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or closely related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in transportation engineering/planning/signal operations
• Engineer in Training (EIT/FE) preferred
• Valid driver’s license & able to travel for site visits
• Systems engineering experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple complex assignments simultaneously
• Demonstrated proficiency with traffic analysis software such as Synchro/SimTraffic
• Significant experience with CADD/Design software
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in California, or ability to obtain licensure via reciprocity
• Hands-on knowledge of traffic signals and signal systems
• Strong oral and written communications skills
