As a Senior Project Manager (Transportation), you will have an important role that includes leading and executing projects in North Florida region, pursuing new work, and building client relationships. Working with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll solve problems and challenges in a team environment where everyone is valued. This position will give you the chance to work on exciting transportation projects that will require your expertise, experience, and leadership as you proactively identify and solve complex problems; take a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions; and guide others in solving complex issues. As a self-motivated professional, you’ll have the opportunity to lead design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while supporting business development strategies to grow our transportation portfolio and presence in North Florida.

Our Senior Project Manager (Transportation) will:

  • Lead successful delivery of quality projects from conceptual design through preliminary, intermediate, and final design phases to construction

  • Manage on-call contracts and sub-consultants

  • Prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for projects and task orders

  • Prepare or oversee the design for roadway, highway, and/or traffic engineering projects

  • Identify creative and innovative solutions based on client, project, and site constraints

  • Provide technical guidance, oversight, and perform quality reviews

  • Assist in project pursuits to win work, coordinating with client account management leads

  • Assist in business development and proposal efforts.

  • Maintain and/or develop relationships with new and existing clients to determine their needs and manage expectations

Based in our Jacksonville or Tallahassee office, our hybrid work environment provides the flexibility to work as an integral member of our team.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • At least 5 years of transportation or Florida state government project management experience

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

  • Existing client relationships with DOT and/or other relevant agencies

  • Experience leading discipline and project teams on multi-discipline infrastructure engineering design and construction projects as well as on-call task orders

  • Alternative delivery project experience including design-build, progressive design-build, and construction manager/general contractor (or construction manager at risk)

  • Ability and willingness to travel on occasion
