Your Impact:

Jacobs is looking for an Environmental Consultant. The selected candidate will be supporting environmental projects in the field of consulting, site investigation / characterization, remediation design and implementation, due diligence audits.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • 2-3 years of field experience in drilling supervision and sampling (groundwater / soil / soil gas sampling) activities;

  • Availability and interest for field work, some travel required (25 – 50%);

  • Direct experience related to contaminated site characterization, human health risk assessment, and remediation techniques preferred;

  • Awareness of main field H&S topics and procedures;

  • Knowledge of the application of main national environmental and H&S legislation;

  • Fluency in written and spoken Germany and English languages;

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology or Environmental Sciences

  • Good communication and team work skills

The following will be considered a plus:

  • Direct experience related to environmental (phase I and phase II) and compliance due diligence;

  • GIS, CAD and data management skills;

  • Knowledge and application of sustainability principles;

  • Mindset open to innovation, digitalization, visual communication
