Performsa variety of routine assignments involved in either the coordination of variousengineering, construction, purchasing, scheduling and start up aspects of aproject, or the technical excellence of the engineering portion of a projectacross all disciplines. This individual typically performs in an administrativerole with discretionary authority for determining alternatives, makingspecifications, and carrying out assignments as directed by a Project Manager.

  • Overseesthe engineering activity (all disciplines) on a small project, or designatedportions of a project for a global business unit

  • Plansand directs engineering assignments on the project

  • Havetechnical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinatingthese assignments

  • Supervisesthe engineering activity on a relative small size project or designatedportions of a larger project

  • Mayexercise operational supervision over other project engineers when in adesignated lead position

  • Demonstratedstrong knowledge of industry standards and design criteria within theengineering industry

  • Strongknowledge of HSE procedures and practices

  • Proficientknowledge of project engineering processes and procedures

  • Proficientexecution planning skills

  • Strongin organizing and managing complex engineering activities

  • Workingknowledge of project control systems

  • Workingknowledge of the EPC business and TIC estimating processes

  • Knowledgeof proposals and bid processes

  • Understandsengineering estimate basis

  • Understandscontractual requirements for the project


  • BSin an Engineering field required

  • Priorpharmaceutical industry experience is required

  • Onsite at a client’s pharmaceutical facility working on small capmulti-discipline projects

  • Formulationand sterile fill/finish is recommended

  • Applicantwith greater than 8 years of experience will be considered

  • Familiarwith Engineering codes and standards required

  • Advancedlevel knowledge of computer applications and other engineering tools required

  • ProfessionalEngineering certification in related discipline preferred
