Here’s What You’ll Need:
-Minimum qualification - suitable acoustics degree, MSc preferred
-Good communication skills – both spoken and written
-Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within teams
-Familiar in use of acoustics and GIS software packages
-Strong numerical skills including ability to work with Excel based spreadsheet solutions (e.g. manipulation of formulas) to efficiently process large and complex datasets
-Self-motivated and confident to take the initiative and have the necessary skills to aid the delivery of a variety of projects within a multi-disciplined organisation
Desirable:
-12 months environmental acoustic consultancy experience
-Experienced in use of developing bespoke GIS tools including Python scripts
-Familiarity with Database packages
-Understanding of key UK standards and legislation relevant to acoustics including DMRB and CRTN (training will be provided if needed)
