Jacobs Design Engineer - Electric Vehicle Market in Krakow, Poland

Our Global Delivery Center (GDC ) engineers in Krakow and Warsaw office collaborate on the design and delivery of local and global projects in the fields of engineering, design and construction. Our Global Business Services (GBS) specialists provide global support and expertise in the fields of Accounting, Procurement, IT, HR and Graphic Design.

Jacobs has decades of experience designing electricity transmission and distribution systems all around the world and continues to be on the forefront of emerging technologies including electric vehicle (EV) charging. Join a team of design engineers who will be supporting projects for leading providers of wireless charging solutions for electric vehicles across the globe.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Education: relevant degree in engineering or architecture

  • Mid- level professional experience for buildings-related design projects

  • Good knowledge of current building codes and standards

  • Working knowledge of engineering software/depending on your profession: CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation), Bentley (AECOsim, OpenPlant), 3D (CadWorx, SP3D, Plant 3D) and office suite (Word, Excel)

  • English language skills minimum at intermediate level (B2 in EU)

  • Personal skills: well organized, responsible

  • International design experience would be an advantage
