Jacobs Junior Full-stack Developer in Krakow, Poland

Your Impact:

We are an engineering consulting company that delivers solutions and services to our internal and external customers. We are looking for a candidate that would support Poland office in building and developing software products and solutions through a combination of new and existing technology & data. The successful applicant will join the team responsible for increasing the efficiency of our working environment and making our processes leaner in order to deliver projects in an innovative and digital way.

It is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex initiatives and projects that link digital with engineering environment and have a real influence on the way the company works.

Duties/tasks:

  • Develop app/software/scripts that would enhance project delivery, data usage and communication between existing and new software (i.e. data capture and process automation – imports directly from vendors to datasheets, calculation tools, etc.)

  • Take part in global initiatives to design, develop and execute software solutions to address business needs (workflows, libraries, database)

  • Coordination with global Digital Delivery and Automation stakeholders on tools functionality and user interface

  • Collaborate with project teams and Project Managers on determining best practices, possible improvements to project delivery processes and automation of tools

  • Help to enhance efficiency in use of existing applications, tools and platforms used by different business groups and functions

  • Support and provide technical advice to tool automation team

  • Troubleshoot coding problems, implement end-users feedback and comments, release software fixes, customize software tools per project needs

  • Develop and maintain documentation for tools and software

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Preferred skills:

  • Around 1 year of hands-on development experience in an Agile environment, using some or a combination of : - Back-end programming languages; C#/.NET., Python, Java - Front-end web development (nice to have but not critical) HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • ​​​​​​​Managing and processing data held in a relational database, SQL

  • Awareness of current best practices

Also welcomed:

  • Experience in creating workflows and knowledge of Power Automate/Aps

  • Knowledge of source control (e.g. Git)

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS

  • Familiarity with API for Autodesk/ Bentley software
