Jacobs Młodszy specjalista ds. modelowania hydraulicznego i CFD (K/M/X) / Junior Hydraulic & CFD Modeller (W/M/X) in Krakow, Poland

Responsibilities:

  • Perform hydraulic and CDF modeling projects in river, marine, sewer and water supply hazard analysis work, urban flood modeling;

  • Conceptual work and designing of solutions;

  • Supporting engineering projects with model building and solutions;

  • Work with the team to deliver agreed scopes of work within specified timeframes and maintain technical quality to ensure projects meet client specifications;

  • Communicate modeling results to internal and external customers;

  • Identify and implement technical innovations to improve project delivery efficiency.

  • Ability to work in the office or in a hybrid model (project dependent).

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Higher technical education in hydraulic engineering or science, fluid mechanics background is welcome;

  • Min. 5 of experience in hydraulic modeling, 3D modeling in river, marine, sewer and water supply or in CFD analyses in water resources;

  • Proven experience working with modeling software such as: OpenFOAM or equivalent, GIS packages;

  • Ability to use Python/Linux is welcome;

  • Very good oral and written English language skills;

  • Analytical skills and ability to write reports;

  • Team-oriented attitude, direct contact with internal and external customers, collaboration within project teams;

  • Knowledge of current industry best practices.
