Jacobs Process Mechanical Engineer (GAS ) in Krakow, Poland

We are looking for graduates and specialists interested in working as a Gas Designer in Kraków or Warsaw.


  • Developing design of Gas Stations installation (pressure reduction gas stations, blower/compressor gas stations, gas odorization stations),

  • Developing 3D models and 2D drawings of process mechanical (gas) equipment and piping systems,

  • Supporting Engineers in preparation of high-quality contract documents including calculation sheets, data sheets, specifications, pipe, valve, lifting schedules, etc. in accordance with applicable standards,

  • Supporting Engineers in process mechanical equipment sizing and selection,

  • Cooperating with Engineers and Designers from other disciplines and from other offices,

  • Working to meet Health and Safety and overall project quality objectives,

  • Participating in foreign business trips;

Here’s What You’ll Need:


  • BSc/MSc in Environmental Engineering or similar,

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role on gas stations projects,

  • Exposure to gas industry standards, codes, and common practices,

  • Understanding of hydraulic (gas) design of gas systems,

  • Understanding of PL/EU/UK standards and best practices,

  • Understanding of project life cycles (feasibility, master planning, conceptual design, preliminary and detailed design, tendering and construction services),

  • Good CAD skills: Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD) and/or Bentley (AECOsim, OpenPlant and MicroStation),

  • Good English communication skills, both verbal and writing,

  • Designing in accordance with applicable H&S standards,

  • Ability to work in an English environment,

  • Motivated and enthusiastic to develop and learn new software skills.
