Senior HSE Advisor

Description

Senior HSE Advisorposition will be responsible for overseeing Beyond Zero program implementation inPoland. The role will have interfaces with corporate H&S program andnetwork, local projects including support to Global Design Centre in safety indesign space. The role will be a part of Poland HSE team reporting to thePoland HSE Manager

Fluent spoken and written Englishis mandatory. The candidate should have solid experience (8-10 years) onsimilar role, preferably in the international organisation.

Responsibilities withinthe role will include:

_

  • _ Performing routine work in a widerange of HSE disciplines applying legal requirements, standard procedures andsafety programs

_

  • _ Conducting incidentsinvestigations and analyse/share lessons learned

_

  • _ Delivering the H&S trainingprogramme for Poland

_

  • _ Conduct regular office/sitesafety inspections.

_

  • _ Responsible for implementationBeyond Zero program in local operations (HS plans, contractors qualificationetc.)

_

  • _ Supporting execution of emergencypreparedness programs

_

  • _ Responsible for maintainingcompliance with safety management systems (ISO 45001)

_

  • _ Supporting Wellbeing strategyimplementation, including Mental Health Matters program

_

  • _ Driving Beyond Zero cultureinitiatives and awareness activities

_

  • _ Interface with wider Europeansafety network, stakeholders and functional partners at all levels of theorganization

_

  • _ Utilize company systems andresources to perform responsibilities mentioned above

The successful candidatemust have initiative, energy, enthusiasm and commitment and be flexible in workapproach . Some travel to project sites and meeting would be required,though the primary work location will be Krakow.

Qualifications

_

  • _ B.S. and/or M.S. in OccupationalSafety/Health or in Civil Engineering will be advantage Minimum 5 yearsof related project experience

_

  • _ Postgraduate safety studiesentitling to act as H&S proffesional

_

  • _ 8-10 years of experience inH&S management (field or construction safety experience will be apreference)

_

  • _ Experience or practicalunderstanding of design safety aspects will be a strong asset

_

  • _ Hands on experience in deliveringsafety trainings

_

  • _ Auditing skills and experience

_

  • _ Fluency in English, both writtenand spoken

_

  • _ Excellent written and verbalcommunications skills

_

  • _ Working knowledge of Officesoftware

_

  • _ Flexibility for travel to otherlocation will be appreciated in moderate time frame

_

  • _ Ability to interact and influenceother engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels

_

  • _ Fluent spoken and written Englishis required;

_

  • _ Driving license

_

  • _ Ability and willingness toperiodically travel and support work at project sites (up to approximately 25%)

_

  • _ Good communication and team workskills.
