This position supports Global Procurement Team in delivers training activities and is responsible for supporting Supply Management Group (SMG).

The Training Support Specialist main responsibilities:

  • Coordinates arrangements for facilities, instructors, training records, and training class development

  • Participates in annual planning of training strategies, needs, resources, and objectives

  • Evaluates ongoing training programs; recommends and implements changes to increase effectiveness and relevancy

  • Monitors and reports effectiveness of training

  • Administering course schedule management, attendance and completion documentation in Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Supporting online training program development and delivery through both virtual instructor led training and self directed eLearning

  • Researches new training techniques

  • May contract with vendors for employee participation in outside training programs

  • Develops test and visual aids

  • Analyzes data; developing strategies to meet current and future needs

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or University Degree

  • Supply Management and/or ERP Systems experience

  • Experience with eLearning systems

  • Fluent in the English language (this role has a global interface)

  • Knowledge and experience in developing and delivering SMG training courses (online and face to face)

  • Data gathering and statistical trend analysis

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Articulate / Adobe E-Learning Suite or other learning platforms

  • Skill in supporting stakeholder groups and teams within areas of responsibility such as communicating with executive management to graduates
