Our Global Delivery Center (GDC) engineers in Krakow and Warsaw office collaborate on the design and delivery of local and global projects in the fields of engineering, design and construction. Our Global Business Services (GBS) specialists provide global support and expertise in the fields of Accounting, Procurement, IT, HR and Graphic Design.

Responsibilities:

  • Management and delivery of transport planning projects focusing on economics and business case for our strategic clients in UK, Ireland, Poland and across our international business

  • Provision of analytical support to projects across the spectrum of our transportation planning business

  • Training and mentoring of junior team members

  • Quality assurance and peer review of transport planning work

  • Business development activities as required

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Substantial experience of transport economics including producing Business Cases, Feasibility Studies, etc.

  • Experience and knowledge of transport / economic appraisal techniques and guidance including economic cost-benefit analysis

  • Knowledge of the technical transport planning environment

  • Strong numerate and analytical abilities, including high degree of competence in MS Excel

  • The applicant should be a quick learner about the appraisal and business case processes, especially for UK Projects

  • Good English skills

Desirables skills:

  • Knowledge or some experience in the application of analytical and appraisal methods in the context of transport (PT and highway) and urban/public realm projects

  • Understanding and exposure to webTAG guidance

  • Knowledge and experience of UK appraisal and business case guidance and approaches

  • Knowledge and experience of the application of rail appraisal techniques

  • Experience in the use of tools such as TUBA, COBALT, GUS, etc.

  • Knowledge of UK transport planning market
