We are seeking to hire an experienced Maritime Structural Engineer . The work would be principally based in Malaysia and key responsibilities will include; marine structural analysis and design which further includes : data gathering and interpretation, FE Modelling (StaadPro) or similar calculations, design drawings, technical report writing , specifications for construction and in house technical presentations.
This role will help you grow your career and you'll have the opportunity to work on projects across other regions with the support of the global team.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
You will possess a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, working towards Professional Engineering status. You will be capable in structural modelling, analysis and designs of wharfs, quay walls, piled jetties, breakwaters, and revetments. Sound knowledge of geotechnical engineering, costal engineering or any other maritime disciplines would be beneficial. The individual should possess excellent written, oral communication skills and have an impeccable follow through while taking ownership in each task assigned.
You will be to:
Participate on projects to meet critical deadlines and engineering budgets
Perform detailed engineering calculations utilizing codes, engineering software, spreadsheets, etc
Creatively develop multiple solutions to problems encountered during all phases of design and construction
Demonstrate good teamwork, personal planning an organization.
