Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our Las Vegas, NV office, therefore we have a need for a, H&H Civil Design to assist on roadway and drainage design projects.
Conducts roadway and drainage analyses and design per the requirements of the project and various agencies such as Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT), Clark County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), City of Las Vegas (CLV), Clark County (CC), City of North Las Vegas (CNLV), City of Henderson (COH), Clark County Regional Flood Control District (CCRFCD), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and Nevada State Department of Water Resources Dam Safety (NDWR).
Resolves a variety of complex problems, (i.e. conflicting design requirements, conflicting utility crossings, mitigating impacts, and difficult coordination requirements).
Prepares contract drawings and specifications, and estimates.
Performs other duties assigned by a Roadway or Drainage Lead or Project Manager.
Performs other duties as required.
Bachelor’s Degree is required
8 years of progressive work experience on infrastructure projects in particular highway or roadway drainage design is preferred.
Proficiency with Microstation, Civil3D, HEC-1, Rational Method, FlowMaster, WSPGW, Flo2D, and HEC-RAS is required.
Good written and verbal communication skills including the proficient use of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) is required
Ability to work as part of a team is required
Exhibits planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines required
Demonstrated ability to see a project through to completion is required
Excellent attention to detailing of complex civil design components is required
